Pig Earrings

These are clip on pig earrings. They are pig buttons I found. Clip on earrings I got from Jo Ann's or Micheal's. Then I put them together. They are for my friend who doesn't have pierced ears.

Tastee Treat 4

Crepes

1 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup of soy milk
1/2 cup water
1/8 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of melted butter (or margarine)

1. Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth. 2. Cook on lower heat than regular crepes (these burn faster). I would grease the pan before pouring in the mixture.

You can keep them in a fridge or freeze them for a later date.

You can use it as bread and make wraps out of them or like a pancake and serve with sugar and butter. You can make a bunch the same size and make it into a cake. Your options and variations are endless.

Tastee Treat 3

Mint Chocolate Rice Treats

1 bag of mint chocolate chips
1 box of chocolate rice krispies or chocolate pebbles
1 bag of Marshmallows
1/4 cup of butter or margarine

In a large sauce pan add butter and marshmallows. Still until marshmallows are cooked down. Once this is done, add in chocolate rice krispies and mint chocolate chips, still until blended and completely mixed. Then put into a greased pan and let cool. Once cooled cut and serve.

Variations

1. Once treats are in the the pan before they are cooled add a layer of chocolate chips or chocolate pieces.
2. Put treats into 2 round cake pans. Once cooled take out of pans whole, with once piece on a serving plate, top with chocolate frosting. Then place the 2nd piece on top and frost with chocolate frosting.
3. Don't add mint chocolate chips. Put treats into 2 square cake pans to cool. Once cooled, place one whole piece on a serving plate. Frost with peanut butter. Then place the second whole piece on top and frost whole thing or just the top with peanut butter.
4. Don't add mint chocolate chips. Put treats into 2 round cake pans to cool. Once cooled, place one whole piece on a serving plate. Top with cherry pie filling. Then place the second piece on top and top with cherry pie filling.
4. A. Instead of cherry pie filling use strawberry pie filling or some other fruit filling.
4. B. Instead of fruit pie filling use pudding. Chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, etc. Just remember to refrigerate if you add pudding.

Tastee Treat 2

Rice

1 cup of rice
2 cups of chicken broth

Bring chicken broth to a boil, add rice. Turn down temperature of rice to medium. Cover sauce pan. Should be cooked in 5 - 10 minutes depending on your stove, rice, etc.

Variations:

-Other flavored broths like fish, beef, veggie.
-Wine instead of broth, I would use a white wine, like a Riesling.
-Sake instead of broth.

What You Need:

What To Do:

1. Make sure the biscuit dough is cool or room temperature. Be careful not to let it sit out to long and go bad.

3. Open the can of biscuit dough and cut the biscuits into quarters.

4. Cook the pieces in the oil until light brown. Place a paper towel on a plate and place cooked biscuits on the paper towels.

5. You can cover the cooked dough in sugar, cinnamon sugar, chocolate or anything like that.

Wooden Handbag

This is a wooden handbag I got from a craft store. I then painted it red. The whole thing inside and out. I then painted crackle medium on the sides, top and bottom. I then painted over the crackle medium with a dry brush in black. I painted pig faces on both sides. The inside I painted the name 'Georgia Howard' (this is who I made it for, she is really into pigs and loves the colors black & red). The inside ridge is painted black. I left the handle alone. The closing clasp is painted with the sides.

The first image is a close up of the bottom of the wooden handbag.

The second image is a picture of one of the sides and pig faces I painted.

The third image is of another side, the other pig face I painted.

The fourth image is of the inside of the wooden handbag with my friends name inside.

Picture Frame 4

This is another picture frame I got from the $ store and painted. I don't have a before image of this one but it is similar to the darker pink one I posted earlier. The top of the frame says 'Princess' and it has a crown in silver next to it. I hope you like this. tell me what you think of it.

Picture Frame 3

This is another picture frame I purchased from the $ store. I then painted it a light green. I then took a dry brush and painted it silver. After that I spray painted it with clear paint to seal it. When I do my paintings, specially the picture frames, I paint the front and the back.

Tell me what you think of it. I hope everyone likes it.

The first image is a close up of the paint job. The second image is a far away image of the picture frame.

Picture Frame 2

Tulip Card Holder

This is a tulip card holder I made. The base is a wooden wheel. The top is a dowel with a tulip cut out attached. Then I glued 2 mini clothes pins to the back.

I painted the tulip was painted red, crackle medium, painted silver, touched up with pearl. The stem (dowel) was painted a medium green, crackle medium, painted silver. The base was painted dark green, crackle medium, painted gold. I then painted the whole thing with clear paint to seal it.

This is a close up of the tulip front. You can hold a greeting card or a recipe card or a picture. Something light weight like that. I hope you like it.

This is a far away picture of the back.

A picture frame I painted. The first image is the one with the fan in the back ground. The second is the finished item, its the picture with the bottles in it.

Tip 1

When you are washing natural fibers like wool and cashmere you should wash by hand only. Also only dry flat on a towel. Now if you live some place warm you can dry the item on a towel outside. Most people place the item on the towel and dry in the bathroom. Do on line dry or hang to dry. There are detergent out there to wash natural fibers like wool and mohair but I would use shampoo. I would get a cheap shampoo or a conditioning shampoo.

I would twist out the extra water when rising. Don't pull on the item either. Also I know some people dry the item laying it out on a towel and then roll up the towel. This is ok on some items, specially it the item is small but be careful when doing this. If you own a sweater dryer that is ok too.

I wouldn't put an item in the dryer to dry. Only on low heat or fluff to fluff or soften.

This one I found the main piece on the street. It is attached to a piece of black lace. It is red & white rhinestones and sparkles.

This is a needlepoint Eastern Star pen I made. The white part is the bottom. The red and blue are the top.

This is a female gingerbread man button that I added a mini bell to and turned into a pin. I made a few of them (mainly as sets).

This is the male gingerbread man. I made a few sets but I have given them away or sold them.

This is a snowflake button that I added a pink heart charm to. The button does have glitter on it. I then turned it into a pen.

This is also a snowflake button I turned into a pen. I added a charm to it that says hope. I made some snowflake button pens with mini bells on them also. I don't have any examples of those. I have given away or sold the other snowflake button pens I have made.

I hope everyone likes these. Tell me what you think. If you have any questions just let me know.
