Zappos T-Shirt

This is originally a 3X size Zappos shirt. I cut off the sleeves, hem and the shirt into 4 pieces. I took the bottom 2 pieces of the shirt and sewed them back together. The top part is a sleeve with the back top half of the shirt sewed onto it. I took the hem of the shirt and made them into the straps. Then back of the shirt is also part of a sleeve. It fits me as an empire waist shirt but it fitted Linda (the woman pictured in the shirt) as a dress. She has a black shirt on underneath with black shoes and a belt (it was a little big on her).

So I have been really busy cleaning and looking for work, I haven't taken pictures of my work yet. I plan on doing this this week and posting them very, very soon.

This Last Week

Yesterday I fixed the chain on a beautiful handbag I got from the Gap several years ago. I will post pictures and update post hopefully tomorrow.

I was working on a dress before some other things distracted me from it. I will restart it tomorrow.

I am also hopefully by the end of the year finish all of my half done / partly done / almost done projects. Some of them are outfits I started a long time ago and will not fit me. So the question is do I donate the outfits or hold onto them for when I thin out again. Some of the projects will be sold at bizarre's and fairs and such (if they sell at all). Otherwise, they will be Christmas, Anniversary and Birthday gifts to family and friends.

The Purpose of this Blog

The purpose of this blog is to share with everyone my creative thoughts. I want to share pictures of my creations. I hope everyone likes it. I will post more things soon.
